Team Piranha can be seen racing on most Thursday evenings throughout the summer on Oulton broad, we have created this website to introduce you to our team, catch up on the news, results and fixtures which we will try to keep up to date and also view information about our sponsors on their page.

The boat that I compete in is known as an OSY (Outboard Stock Yamato) 400, this class is a hydroplane class, as well as regular meetings at Oulton broad we also compete at national events around the country at the weekends.
 

The engine we use in this class is a 400cc Yamato, Japanese made with, the top speed is just over 70mph. The engine has low compression which enhances reliability. This means it is a stock engine, which has to be kept standard to make competition closer and results more down to driver ability and skill.
This racing class is one of the most popular being raced all over Europe and most other places worldwide.
